On Thursday, October 25, our very own Dr. Gradwell presented a continuing education program about treatment planning based on ” Generational Differences’. While Dr. Gradwell spoke about the ease of the use of dental implants as a realistic course of care for all age groups, Dr. Lorrie Tomko, a 1989 graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry and a 2012 MBA from DeSalles University spoke about the deeper understanding of how each different generation processes the information we present in response to their dental care needs! Armed with that knowledge makes us better communicators and so allows us to better explain to our patients about their individual needs.
So not only do we attend conferences, we present to our peers. The above photo is Dr. Gradwell presenting his portion at yesterday’s program and the photo below is myself in April 2012 at New York University School of Dentistry with my 2011 – 2012 General Practice Residents from Abington Memorial Hospital where I was presenting at their residency symposium.
